Im Cool.
I am cool. When I say that I mean that I'm crazy, old, ovaly, and I'm liquid. Now you know what cool is. So everyone that calls each other really aren't cool if you don't meet that definition. So when someone calls you cool it's an insult. If everyone followed my rule there would be no cool people. Then everyone would treat each other the same as they would want to be treated.

Unfortunately, "cool" has more than the definition you listed. It also means to be "nonchalant, composed, unruffled, collected." To be "free from agitation as a result of self-discipline" is an excellent trait to have. So, calling someone "cool" can be a compliment, too.
My e-mail address "kuulteacher" is pronounced "cool teacher." Far from an insult!
